Archival pigment ink print on Hahnemühle paper, realized from a drum scan of the artist's 8 x 10 inch negative.

Andrea Modica is a Professor of Photography at Drexel University. She is known for her work with an 8 x 10 view camera and exquisite platinum contact prints which can be found in the permanent collections of numerous prominent institutions including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Bibliothèque Nationale, and The National Gallery of Art. A much sought after lecturer and instructor, she leads workshops in portraiture at the Maine Media Workshops + College and the International Center for Photography, where she has taught since 1997. Her monographs include Treadwell, Minor League, Real Indians, and Fountain. She lives in Philadelphia.
